How ScreenVow works
The exact steps, from subscribing to setting up restrictions on your phone.

Choose your commitment and subscribe
Pick how long to lock your passcode away — 30, 180, or 365 days — then subscribe to continue. Do this first, before touching Screen Time on your phone.

Open Settings → Screen Time
On your iPhone, open the Settings app and tap Screen Time.

Turn on Content & Privacy Restrictions
Inside Screen Time, tap Content & Privacy Restrictions and turn it on.

Limit adult websites
Go to App Store, Media, Web & Games → Web Content, and choose Limit Adult Websites.

Enter the passcode, digit by digit
ScreenVow generates a passcode and walks you through it one digit at a time — some as a quick math question, some briefly flashed on screen. You type each answer straight into Apple's passcode screen, never into ScreenVow. Here's the actual sequence, playing on a loop:

Confirm your commitment on the dashboard
Once your restrictions are set up the way you want, confirm on your ScreenVow dashboard. That starts your commitment timer.

On “Are you sure?”, tap Skip
Right after your passcode is set, Apple shows two screens back to back about Account Recovery. First, tap Cancel on this screen — don't fill anything in:

If you forget the Screen Time passcode, you can use your Apple Account to reset it.
Forgot password?
Apple will then ask “Are you sure?” — tap Skip. Never tap “Provide Apple Account,” or you could reset the passcode yourself later.

Using an Apple Account gives you a secure way to reset the Screen Time passcode if you forget it.
